Ollie-To do an ollie put you back foot on the kicktail and put your other foot ruffly 3/4 of the way down the board (you
can put your foot in different places for comfort). Now that you have your footing down you have to kick down on the back kicktail
and slide your other foot up to where the screws are at the top. When you are in the air your should level out and this is
the ollie. It is easier to practic on carpet or grass to get the feel for it then try it on pavement.
Kickflip-You put your feet in almost the same places as when you ollie. But to kickflip when you kick down on the kicktail
slide up and off at the top inward on your board and this will cause it to flip.Make sure you jump up as high as you
can so your feet wont hit the board and stop it from flipping. When it stops flipping you catch it and land back down.
Heelflip-Almost the same as a kickflip but put the ball of your heel in the middle of the board then slide off outward
and just like the kickflip catch it and go back down.
Shove it- You know the deal put your front foot in the middle of the board and the back foot on the kicktail, kick
down on the tail then spin your board 180 degres by kicking your front foot off the side and catch it so it dosn't overspin.
50-50 grind-ollie up onto a bar or a curb and make it so both trucks are grinding on the surface to get off you can ether
ollie or lift up the nose and turn off.
Boardslide- Again ollie onto a curb or rail and turn your board sidewards so the board is grinding sidewards on the surface. This
is a little trickier to get off you can ether wait untill the end of the surface and turn again so your board is straight
or ollie off and turn straight.
Nosestall- You can do this on a rail or a curb or any other raised surface it is fairly easy. Put one foot on the nose
of your board and one foot on the tail of your board.Lift the nose of your board up by pushing down on the kicktail and
stall with the nose on the curb. All wheels have to be up and to get out you just push down on the tail again and you will
come back down.
Manual-To manual put one foot on the screws at the top of your board and the other on the kicktail.Lift up the nose of
the board and balance so you are on 2 wheels but the tail isn't touching the ground its all about balance basically.
Balance your weight so your not leaning forward or backward but just in between and keep your front kee bent and your
back knee bent very slightly.
Nose Manual-This is a little bit harder then a normal manual.Instead of balancing on your back two wheels you have to
balance on your front two wheels.Push down on the nose of your board then balance on your front wheels lean backwards a little
bit and keep your front foot over the front kicktail and fully extended with your back knee bent. It's a lot harder
then it sounds so practice it and youll be able to do it after a while.
Ollie 180-This is not a hard trick and once you get your ollie down you shouldn't have to much trouble with it.To start
ollie and throw your front shoulder to the back (Frontside) or front (Backside) and this will cause your board to spin 180
degrees, then balance your weight then land and ride away.If your board dosen't spin the full 180 degrees try throwing your
shoulder harder and faster.
Try some of those tricks and I will be adding more tricks later so work on these.
